Global Shading Day 2024

Global Shading Day – Thursday March 21st

Global Shading Day is a special event created by the European Solar Shading Organisation to raise awareness about the positive benefits and advantages of solar shading products and which Stevens Scotland is delighted to join in the celebration.  Solar Shading is widely identified as a way to help create healthy, productive and comfortable indoor environments of which window shading becomes a large part and which should be one of the first solutions to reduce overheating in our homes and conserving warmth in the winter months.

Did you know that making use of Solar Shading products can reduce energy, lower pollution, avoid air conditioning and help towards keeping costs down on your energy bills?  Here at Stevens we believe that it is time to prioritise Solar Shading in the home and in the office, and pave the way for a sustainable future and a positive impact on climate change.

By choosing the correct blind shading fabric this can go a long way to contributing to reduce energy and improve the environment.

Please visit our website to find out more about our blackout, dim-out and reflective coating fabrics, and also our motorised systems, and help to keep homes cooler in the summer and reduce heat loss in the winter, not to mention our overall wellbeing.
